Packing for Italy was a challenge. The temperatures were still changing and of course I hoped that we would catch some warm weather on our trip so I packed a lot of short stuff. And of course I didn’t get super hot and I had so much stuff I couldn’t wear. I always find it hard to decide what to pack for traveling. Especially as a German you don’t want to walk around in a rain coat, and socks in sandals. And you don’t have to!
When you browse around you’ll find a lot of tips for what and how to pack on a holiday, but here is mine: Pack statement pieces, that are still good to combine and COMFORTABLE. What is meant by that? Pieces that are stylish, but still easy to combine, so that they have neutral colors. Such as my culottes and silver sneakers. They pretty much go with everything and look stylish. Another tipp for packing is, that you should play your outfits through in your mind, or maybe even try them on. Try to choose pieces you can create a great variety of looks with, rather than packing pieces you can only wear with one look. Also keep options for different weather conditions.
